Approximately 35 out of 40 students of MSc Mathematics have explicitly failed in the Fluid Dynamics exam in their third semester. The students have now resorted to protest blaming the examiners for making errors in checking and are demanding for an investigating committee be set up to look into the matter.

It has been three days since the students have been protesting but no one seems to pay heed to their demands. A student claims,
“so many of us have been given two-three marks. Every year an error like this happens.”
Around 40 students have also written a letter to the head of the department C S Lalitha. The letter says,
“we want an independent investigation committee to re-evaluate our answer sheets within 15 days.”
However, Lalitha hasn’t responded yet.
