Kader Khan dead: Celebrities pay tribute to Bollywood actor-screenwriter

Actor Kader Khan took his last breath on Tuesday morning in Canada.

The news was confirmed by the Actor’s son Sarfaraz Khan.

He stated,

“Yes, my dad has left us this morning. He was unwell from last few months and in the hospital from last few days. We tried everything we could, but it was time. He was a very loving man and he loved everyone who was a part of his life.”

Kader Khan was 81 years old and had developed breathing problems
and the doctors reportedly transferred him from a regular ventilator to BiPAP ventilator.

Khan, who lived in Canada with his son Sarfaraz and daughter-in-law, underwent a knee surgery last year, which went wrong, leaving the actor unable to walk properly.

Apart from being an actor, Kader Khan has also written dialogues for over 250 movies.

Kader Khan was an Afghan-born Indian-Canadian film actor, screenwriter, comedian, and director. As an actor, he appeared in over 300 films after his debut film in the 1973 film Daag, starring Rajesh Khanna, in which he acted as a prosecuting attorney.

Many Bollywood celebrities paid their tribute to him in the form of tweets..

Govinda says,

” Kader Khan sir is no more with us. He was not just a mentor but also a father figure to me. He had such finesse that whichever artiste he worked with or collaborated with, became a star, in fact a superstar. The entire film industry and my family cannot express the loss in words. I pray to God to grant peace to his soul, and may he find a place in heaven.”

Raveena Tandon pays her condolence stating,

“There are things that we don’t want to happen but have to accept. Feeling gloomy about the sudden demise of such a trouper. I have such beautiful memories with Kader Khan ji and learned a lot while we did movies together. In Dulhe Raja, he not only played the role of my father but indeed was a fatherly figure to me in this industry. May his soul rest in peace and God give strength to the family members to bear such an enduring loss.”

The Indian Prime Minister too paid tribute to the actor,

“Kader Khan Ji brightened the screen with his stupendous acting skills and lightened it thanks to his unique sense of humour. Saddened by his demise. Condolences to his family and admirers. He was also a prolific screenwriter, associated with many memorable films.”

We all mourn this loss and just wish his family strength to get over this grief.
