Students of School of Open Learning, Delhi University recently protested against the hasty decision and lack of services provided to them by Delhi university. They protested in front of the office of the Ministry of Human Resource Development on Monday, 11.11.19. Students demanded the rollback of CBCS ( Choice Based Credit System) and protested under Krantikari Yuva Sangathan.
Choice Based Credit System was already available in Delhi University’s regular courses and recently introduced and added in the course list of SOL, DU.
According to the students, the Choice Based Credit System was hastily introduced in SOL, DU and they are not providing any proper Course books and teachers are also not sure about the syllabus. Krantikari Yuva Sangathan also stated that no proper study materials are being provided to them and exams are due next month. It can lead to a mass fail. Lack of infrastructure and no proper planning indicates and justifies they took Hastily Decision. They accused the University and stated that it is a crime from the part of the University for playing with the future of 1.5 Lakh students.
Now, the students are demanding a quick action and a solution to the above-mentioned decision from the side of the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
