65th national conference of ABVP held in Agra College, Agra from 22nd to 25th November Concluded after decisions on Improving Status of State Universities, implementing “School Bell” Campaign for Rejuvenating Government School, Organising discussions on Employment and Economic issues, Raising Public Awareness & Demanding Pan India Implementation of NRC and organising nationwide programmes in memory of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre victims.

New Organisational responsibilities were also declared in this National Conference.
For Session 2019-2020, Dr. S. Subbaih JI has been elected as National President and Sushri Nidhi Tripathi Ji as National General Secretary. National Organising Secretary of ABVP will be Shri Ashish Chauhan Ji.

Considering the social, national and student interests four resolutions, namely the National current scenario, Emerging possibilities in Kashmir and Laddakh after the abrogation of Art. 370, Welcoming the decision on Ram Mandir and Necessity of promoting State universities, were passed. The New working committee for the year 2019-20 was also constituted.

National General Secretary of ABVP missionary Tripathi said that in the coming days ABVP will be taking up several constructive issues and movements. On the event of birth centenary of Shri, Dattopant Thengdi programs shall be organized throughout the country. Movements shall be organized throughout the country related to the problems ailing state universities. Being 100 anushree of jallianwala bagh massacre programs shall be held throughout the country.

‘Zero Food Wastage’ principle was adopted to prevent wastage of food which drew support of all delegates and no food was wasted.

An Exhibition was organized which had posters of National Figures who have contributed immensely to the development of Bharat. Painting work was done by Students karyakartas of ABVP from Lalit Kala Sansthan. A Memorial was designed and installed depicting Jallianwala Bagh massacre. ‘Mitti’ brought by ABVP Punjab Prant karyakartas from Jallianwala Bagh was kept in the memorial which was later given to all 40 prants.

Selfie Points on Gurunanak Dev JI 550th Birth Anniversary, Gandhi JI 150th Birth Anniversary year, Balakot AirStrike, Chandrayaan 2 were placed in adhiveshan campus.

In the conference, famous archaeologist vasant shinde presented his thoughts about Rakhigarhi excavations. Professor Santosh mehrotra of JNU RBI director Satish marathe spoke on the economic situation of the country whereas ABVPs Girl student work in charge Ms. Mamta Yadav talked about “Women discourse and Youth”.

Sagar Reddy was awarded the Prof. Yashwant Rao Kelkar Youth Award for his exceptional work for Orphans in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the “School bell initiative” started from Bangalore where 150 government schools were adopted and 5000 volunteers worked for 3 days to make it a success. This model shall be adopted in all the other states throughout the country.

A cultural event was also organized during the conference where all the karyakartas had a glimpse of the culture of Braj and karyakarts from “Kendriya Hindi Sansthan” displayed the culture of India through traditional songs and dance.

National General Secretary Nidhi Tripathi, National Media Convener Rahul Chaudhary, Delhi State Secretary Siddharth Yadav, DUSU Joint Secretary Shivangi Kharwal, ABVP Delhi’ State Media Incharge Ashutosh Singh was present.
