35 percent Delhites want to leave the City as air gets hazardous

According to a survey conducted by LocalCircles, a social engagement platform says that as much as 35 per cent of the people residing in Delhi is considering shifting to a new city so as to escape from the toxic air, the city offers.

The survey reported that the residents are not satisfied with the efforts of the Delhi and NCT Government to curb the air pollution. With the pollution levels hitting an all-time high in specific places, the overall air quality index has remained over 400 consistently for the last several weeks.

In addition to this 30 per cent admitted that someone in the family had to seek medical help in connection to a pollution-related health issue. About 56 per cent said that they don’t have a mask or air purifier to protect them from the toxic air.
